It is important to us to make sure that Laneway Festival is a welcoming and accessible space for everyone. Get in touch via our accessibility form below to let us know your specific needs or ask any questions about our sites.
DOES LANEWAY HAVE ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES?

Laneway Festival Melbourne is an accessible site, please note there are different surfaces on site including grass, concrete, cobbled stone and gravel. There are some uneven surfaces and slopes in different areas, however all stages are accessible by wheelchair. Accessible toilet facilities are available on site.

For viewing platforms

Medication

Prescription medication is able to be brought into the festival and remain on you during your stay. Please ensure that any prescriptions are in their original packaging and that the label matches your ID. If you would like medical to store with medical, please advise when you enter and we will be able to direct you. Please note that your bag will still need to be searched by security. On arrival, please head to the accessibility lane and our access coordinator will be there to assist if there is any follow-up from security.

GF & Celiac requests

We have a dedicated celiac-certified food truck called Brother Jackson on site, with the most amazing food.  On arrival, please head to the accessibility lane and our access coordinator will be there to assist if there is any follow-up from security. Your bag will need to be searched but you will be on the list of requested food, I recommend where possible to bring pre-packed food and any home-made food in a clear plastic container/wrapping.

All other dietaries

Sensory & Chill out space

The Melbourne event is held outdoors at Flemington Racecourse, we have a dedicated chill out space. We also have a low sensory friendly space which is managed by Honeycomb access who has a range of sensory friendly toys, noise cancelling headphones, weighted blankets, bean bags, seating and water.

The low sensory friendly space is in a marquee as there are no perm buildings in the event space alongside with some outdoor grass area. Which does mean that there is still atmospheric noise.

DOES LANEWAY ACCEPT COMPANION CARDS?

Yes we do. If you have an approved companion card you will be able to add an additional ticket during your ticket purchase through Ticketek. For any further assistance, please contact Ticketek directly here.
