At 17 years old, RNZŌ is the youngest artist on the Laneway Festival lineup, and he’s determined to leave a lasting impression. Born in Hamilton, raised in Kawerau, the up-and-coming artist finally released his debut single ‘Taniwharau’ in August 2024 after teasing it on TikTok for weeks. With an irresistible flow, the track instantly caught the attention of hip hop fans throughout the Motu and in far-reaching corners of the globe. Proudly representing his culture with his music, RNZŌ has a clear sense of identity and purpose that not many artists of his age can claim. As if to prove that he is destined to grace our stage,  RNZŌ has just released a collaboration with Laneway alumni Haz Beats (Home Brew) titled ‘Veteran Freestyle’. This summer is RNZŌ season.
