O & The Mo are Olivia Gallagher and Alvin Bartley, a creative couple and bandmates residing inWakapuaka, Nelson; their dreamy, lackadaisical music dips into various genres, spanning from indie-dream-pop to neo-psychedelia. Their creative synergy, a DIY approach to songwriting and recording and a collage of influences from indie greats such as Connan Mockasin and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, has resulted in a deeply layered approach to collaborative music and a nostalgic, homely ambience that runs through each track.
