Ninajirachi’s personal brand of EDM is woven tightly into her DNA. Raised on the Central Coast, surrounded by natural wonders, Ninajarachi spent her formative years exploring outside, playing Nintendo DS-era Pokémon games and listening to EDM. Fantasy worlds, technology and the natural world are awe-inspiring in equal measure for Australian DJ and producer Ninajarachi – and that surprising confluence of influences are on full display in her latest project girl EDM. On the two-part album, Ninajirachi explores the initial sounds that first inspired her to pursue music production, creating a tapestry of experimental soundscapes, 2010s-inspired club beats and melodic lines as sweeping as the sky and sea.
