Public Transport is included in your event tickets!

All Perth Laneway Festival tickets include public transport for all Transperth services for three hours before, during and after the event until end of service. Information regarding the special event transport services can be obtained by contacting the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13 or by visiting the Transperth website at www.transperth.wa.gov.au

Festival Ticket Holders do not need to pay for any Transperth services within these times. Simply have your event ticket available to show Transperth staff.

Transperth services:
Before the event – Catch the train to Claisebrook Station and take the short walk to the Festival Entrance, follow event signage when you exit the station to enter the festival on Wittenoom Street.

After the event – Claisebrook and McIver stations will be closed, instead buses will be departing from outside the event on Hill Street, and take you straight to Perth Station where you can jump on the train home.

Bike
Bike parking is available outside the festival entrance, BYO bike lock.

Road Closures
There will be a number of road closures in the vicinity, we strongly encourage all patrons to use public transport to avoid congestion and delays.
The following roads will be closed for the event from 9am Sunday 12 February, to be restored 12am Monday 13 February.

Taxi & Ride Share Drop Off
There will be a pick up and drop off facility for Taxi and Ride Share located at CPP Royal Street, access off Royal Street. Please follow the signs and directions of Traffic Controllers and Event Marhsals at all times.

You can share your tickets purchased with your friends through the Ticketek app. To use, visit the “Your Tickets” tab on the mobile app, tap on “Share” against the ticket you want to send. Follow the steps as prompted to share. Once you’ve shared a mobile ticket, your family member or friend would receive a unique link through email or SMS – depending on how you chose to share it.

No. The name on your ticket does not need to match your photo ID. However, we recommend if you have multiple tickets for a group of friends, you share them with each attendee prior to the event to ensure ease of entry into the festival.

Do not buy tickets from an unknown source; there is no way to be sure that it is a valid ticket. We will be scanning all tickets on arrival and you will not be granted entrance if the barcode has already been scanned or your ticket has been altered.

St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in PERTH in 2023 will be a licensed 16+ event.

So that we can provide a secure and safe environment for everyone, we are implementing our Youth Policy for 2023, which will form part of our Conditions of Entry.

The minimum age requirement to attend St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Perth for 2023 will be 16 years of age (that is, 16 years as at the date of the event: Sunday 12 February 2023).

All patrons under the age of 18-years old MUST be accompanied and supervised, at all times, by a responsible adult* over the age of 25-years old.

A youth ticket must be purchased with an 18+ ticket, at a ratio of 1:1, that is, a responsible adult may supervise a maximum of ONE juvenile at the festival.

If a juvenile is found to be unaccompanied or unsupervised at any point, both the juvenile and their respective responsible adult will have their tickets cancelled and will be escorted from the festival site.

Anyone who fails to present an Accepted ID upon entry will not be allowed into St Jerome’s Laneway Festival. No refunds will be processed for anyone who is denied entry because they did not bring Accepted ID.

Accepted ID for 16 and 17 year olds attending St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Perth will be as follows:

1. Australian Photo Driver’s Licence or Learner’s Permit; or

2. Passport (either current or expired less than 2 years ago and has not been cancelled); or

3. KEYPASS Photo ID Card or equivalent Proof of Age Card (**see below); or

4. Australian Birth Certificate (certified copy is okay) PLUS a Current Photo ID (eg student card). We must be able to verify both your age and your photo ID, we cannot accept one without the other.

The Conditions of Entry and Ticketing Terms & Conditions apply to everyone attending St Jerome’s Laneway Festival.

Promoter reserves the right to evict any persons engaging in illegal activities (for 16 and 17 years olds, this includes trying to purchase or consuming alcohol).

* Liquor Control Act WA 1988 – S125 (2)(b) A person shall be taken to be a responsible adult if that person was an adult who is a parent, step-parent, spouse, de facto partner or legal guardian of the juvenile, or other person in loco parentis to the juvenile.

** Proof of Age Card issued by an interstate government authority, such as:

NSW residents: NSW Proof of Age Card or a NSW Photo Card issued by Service NSW.

WA residents: WA Photo Card issued by WA Department of Transport.

AT THE FESTIVAL

PRE-EVENT

Youth and Responsible Adults MUST ensure the Responsible Adult is registered prior to arriving at the festival.

All Responsible Adults must have a valid festival ticket and be 25 years or older.

Registrations for Parents or Guardians will open closer to the festival date. 

Registrations close at midnight WA time on Friday 10 February.

AT THE FESTIVAL GATES

All Youth and Responsible Adults MUST enter the event together by first visiting the YOUTH 16+ & RESPONSIBLE ADULT REGISTRATION tent.

Pass Outs refer to leaving the festival throughout the day, then returning at a later time.

There are no Pass Outs on the day. If you choose to leave the Festival at any point, you will not be admitted back in. There will be more than enough food, drinks, amenities and of course, music to keep going all day.

Sealed plastic water or soft drink bottles will be permitted in to the festival. No glass bottles or containers please. All bags will be searched on entry by our friendly security staff.

No professional cameras (read: cameras with detachable lenses) are permitted without formal media accreditation. Likewise no audio or film recording equipment can be brought into the Festival.

Media tickets are limited to those who can provide significant pre- and post-event coverage and we advise you to purchase a ticket if you don't want to miss out.

Only one reviewer ticket, and where appropriate one photographer pass, will be allocated to approved outlets (i.e. no plus +1!). In cases where there are multiple requests, we will revert to the editor for clarification.

ACCESSIBILITY AT THE FESTIVAL

We accept companion cards. If you have an approved companion card you will need to fill out this form and one of our friendly Ticketek staff will give you a call to process your request before sending through your ticket.

Yes, Laneway Festival Perth is an accessible site, please note there are different surfaces on site including grass, concrete, cobbled stone and gravel. There are some uneven surfaces and slopes in different areas, however all stages are accessible by wheelchair. Accessible viewing platforms can be found at all stages within the event. All platforms have ramp access, and a nearby wheelchair accessible toilet. Limited seating is available at each platform. As platforms have a limited capacity they are strictly for access customers plus one (1) companion. We operate our platforms on a first come, first served basis whilst we try to have sufficient space for everyone, demand varies by artists and at times there may be a wait.

In order to provide the best possible experience, we ask that everyone who wishes to use the Access facilities at Perth Laneway complete and submit an Access Requirements Form prior to arriving on site. If Driving, please note that parking is available for ACROD Parking Permit Holders near 76 Wittenoom Street, East Perth.

These are dedicated ACROD parking bays within our road closures, please approach from Wittenoom Street East of Bennet Street.

You will need to show your ACROD Parking Permit to Traffic Controllers.

ACROD Parking is approximately 200 metres from the Event Entry.

The closest Train Station is Claisebrook Station, which is approx. 650 metres from the Event Entry on Wittenoom Street.

Buses are also available on Wellington Street, which is approx. 550 metres from the Event Entry on Wittenoom Street.

At the Entry, there is a dedicated entry lane for Access customers (clearly signposted) please enter through this lane.

TEMPORARY IMPAIRMENTS

Please note that our access facilities are unable to cater or people with temporary impairments such as broken bones, healing injuries or pregnant people. If you have a temporary impairment, please be aware that there will be a lot of walking and standing at the festival.

EFFECT LIGHTING

Smoke machines, strobe lights, lasers, pyrotechnics and other effects MAY be in use at this event. Anyone affected by these should bear this in mind.

MEDICATION

If you need to bring medication with you, we recommend bringing a copy of your doctors letter or prescription. Please keep medication in its original packaging. There will be a cold storage option available if you require cold storage for medication.

MEDICAL & WELFARE

Medical and welfare facilities are available at the event and can be located near the Main Entry and Main Stage (clearly signposted).

GROUND CONDITIONS / WEATHER

Perth Laneway is an outdoor event taking place at Wellington Square on a mixture of grass and hard standing pathways. The majority of the site is grass. It is important to be aware that during inclement weather some parts of the site may be muddy, waterlogged or dusty and may be difficult to navigate around. Access Viewing Platforms are uncovered, so please dress appropriately and for all weather conditions.

Noise management
Noise levels from the concert have been determined in accordance with guidelines established by the Department of Environmental Protection for events of this type. We will adhere to the approved Noise Management Plan for the event and requirements for safety and security. Stage and speaker layouts are designed to obtain maximum screening from buildings and topography. Noise levels during the event will be continuously monitored both inside and outside the venue. Sounds systems will be adjusted wherever practicable to reduce noise emissions.
