With just over a week to go before the St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival returns to its new home in Port Adelaide, the festival is announcing some more local flavour on the bill.

Taking over the Vitalstatistix Stage in 2015 will be a selection of the city’s finest beat-makers, hand-picked by local imprint Untzz Twelve Inch. The electronic specialists were given the lofty task of curating the Waterside Worker’s Hall following the innovative and diverse program offered up by Format Collective last year.

Following in similar footsteps, the Untzz crew have dished up a pretty eclectic line-up of their own, traversing the worlds of house, techno, grime and disco. The massively hyped Strict Face will close the stage following a massive year in which his music was released on UK labels Tuff Wax and Gobstopper, bigged up by Cashmere Cat and featured in several ‘Best of 2014’ lists. He will be backed by a who’s who of Adelaide producers and DJs including Cuckoo Music boss 12” Phildo, genre-mashing veterans the Carter Bros and Untzz staples Freddie Norwood and HVCK.
