Just last week, Belle and Sebastian announced next year’s release of their highly anticipated ninth studio album, due out on 16 January in Australia. Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance (Matador/Remote Control) is the long-awaited follow-up to 2010’s Write About Love.
Opening each night will be cheeky, charming and touchingly direct Melbourne foursome, Twerps. Forming in late 2008, they have been affectionately called “the best new band in Australia” by iconic UK magazine Uncut.
