Happy new year! The Laneway Festival kicks off at the end of the month with tickets to Melbourne and Sydney festival shows close to selling out. We look forward to making some more exciting announcements about exactly what’s in store in the coming weeks.

We're sad to announce that, due to health reasons, Lykke Li is no longer able to perform at the 2015 Laneway Festival or scheduled sideshows.

Lykke says:

“I'm incredibly sorry to announce that I’m no longer able to play in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore for Laneway Festival. It’s been a long time coming, but unfortunately tour life has caught up with me and it’s been recommended that I take a break. I’m devastated, but know I will return. Thank you for all the support, and I sincerely hope I can make it up to you at a later date."

Details for refunds to Lykke’s shows at the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne Forum are below. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and are grateful for your understanding.

We are excited to announce that TKAY MAIDZA has just been added to all five Australian events. The uniquely gifted and endlessly charismatic 18 year-old rapper has been churning out consistently head-turning tracks since she emerged 18 months ago, but it is her irresistible latest single, the Pitchfork-approved ‘Switch Lanes’ that assures her a bright future. Catch her party-starting set at Laneway before she dominates festival stages globally.

Stay tuned for more info about stages, markets, food and after parties in the coming weeks.
