Ticketek is the only online authorised ticket seller for the Australian Laneway Festival. Laneway Festival takes no responsibility for tickets purchased through unauthorised sellers/reseller facilities.

Do not buy tickets from an unknown source; there is no way to be sure that it is a valid ticket. We will be scanning all tickets on arrival and you will not be granted entrance if the barcode has already been scanned or your ticket has been altered.

Payment can be made by Afterpay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Diners Club.

To purchase tickets, you can create/sign in using a Ticketek account. It's a super quick process! Alternatively, if you already have a Ticketek account, we suggest getting the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketek account ahead of time. Remember to triple check your passwords, delivery address and billing information now, so you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order. Tickets are sold at full price regardless of the time you arrive on event day.

Tickets purchased from a retail outlet cannot be replaced if lost, please treat them like cash. Tickets purchased via the Ticketek app or online will be available to view within your Ticketek account and cannot be lost. If you have any issues accessing your ticket, please email [email protected]

Pass Outs refer to leaving the festival throughout the day, then returning at a later time. There are NO Pass Outs on the day. If you choose to leave the Festival at any point, you will not be admitted back in. There will be more than enough food, drinks, amenities and of course, music to keep going all day.

St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Brisbane in 2023 will be a 16+ event.

So that we can provide a secure and safe environment for everyone, we are once again implementing our Youth Policy for 2023, which will form part of our Conditions of Entry.

The minimum age requirement to attend St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Brisbane in 2023 will be 16 years of age (that is, 16 years as at the date of the event: Saturday 4 February 2023).

Accepted ID for 16 and 17 year olds attending St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Brisbane will be as follows:

- Australian Photo Driver’s Licence or Learner’s Permit; or Passport (either current or expired less than 2 years ago and has not been cancelled);

- or KEYPASS Photo ID Card or equivalent Proof of Age Card (*see below);

- or Australian Birth Certificate (certified copy is okay) PLUS a Current Photo ID (eg student card).

We must be able to verify both your age and your photo ID, we cannot accept one without the other.

Anyone who fails to present an Accepted ID upon entry will not be allowed into St Jerome’s Laneway Festival.

No refunds will be processed for anyone who is denied entry because they did not bring Accepted ID.

The Conditions of Entry and Ticketing Terms & Conditions apply to everyone attending St Jerome’s Laneway Festival.

Promoter reserves the right to evict any persons engaging in illegal activities (for 16 and 17 years olds, this includes trying to purchase or consuming alcohol).

* Proof of Age Card issued by an interstate government authority, such as:

QLD residents: QLD Photo Identification Card

NSW residents: NSW Proof of Age Card or a NSW Photo Card issued by Service NSW.

WA residents: WA Photo Card issued by WA Department of Transport.

AT THE FESTIVAL

Gates open at 11.30am with the event finishing at 11.00pm. Please ensure you plan your travel ahead of time - check the TransLink website for all public transport details.

Laneway Festival will go ahead rain, hail or snow, unless the event site is deemed unsafe by the relevant authorities.

No, Laneway Festival is licensed to sell food & drinks and provides great, well-stocked bars. All bags are searched on arrival.

No, shoes are necessary - thongs and sandals are fine but we highly recommend enclosed footwear as it is a long day.

Any items that are lost on the day will be handed in to the Brisbane Showgrounds.

Yes we do. If you have an approved companion card you will need to fill out this form and one of our friendly Ticketek staff will give you a call to process your request before sending through your ticket.

No professional cameras (cameras with detachable lenses) are permitted without formal media accreditation. Likewise no audio or film recording equipment can be brought into the Festival.

MEDIA

Applications for accreditation are open and will close 2 December. Click HERE to apply for media accreditation. 

Media tickets are limited to those who can provide significant pre- and post-event coverage and we advise you to purchase a ticket if you don't want to miss out.

Only one reviewer ticket, and where appropriate one photographer pass, will be allocated to approved outlets (i.e. no +1!). In cases where there are multiple requests, we will revert to the editor for clarification.
