Kiwi artist HANS. has an impressive resume under his belt: he’s a personal favourite of musical tastemaker Zane Lowe, was hand-picked by Billie Eilish to be her opening act at her gig in 2017, has performed at the prestigious South by Southwest festival, boasts tens of millions of streams, and has been dubbed a rising star of New Zealand hip-hop by VICE Magazine. The bedroom producer-turned rapper and multi-talented electronic artist has perfected a unique sound that has him highly sought after on the festival circuit and attracted fellow musicians including Laneway alum Clairo who jumped on his track ‘Froyo’, which has since amassed over 10 million streams. A strong voice for the Korean community, he’s also dipped into leading art exhibition To & Fro that showcases local talent, and co-founded music collective ABG with fellow local artists.
