- Will tickets be available at the gate on the day?
If you don't want to miss out on Laneway Festival, make sure you purchase your ticket online prior to the event.
- Can I purchase tickets at a reduced price if I come midway through the event, if tickets are still available?
Tickets are sold at full price regardless of the time you arrive on event day.
- What happens if I lose my ticket?
Tickets purchased from a retail outlet cannot be replaced if lost, please treat them like cash. Tickets purchased online will be delivered in the form of a bar-coded print-at-home PDF ticket; or a bar-coded Passbook ticket (electronic ticket on mobile device). If you are having an issue with your ticket purchased online, please contact Moshtix on 1300 GET TIX (438 849) Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm (Moshtix are closed Sundays and Public Holidays) or email [email protected].
- Is Laneway Festival 18+?
St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Adelaide will be a 16+ event.
So that we can provide a secure and safe environment for everyone, we’ve introduced a Youth Policy for 2020 which will form part of our Conditions of Entry.
In summary, the minimum age requirement to attend St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Adelaide for 2020 will be 16 years of age (that is, 16 years as at the date of the event)
Accepted ID for 16 and 17 year olds attending St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Adelaide will be as follows:
1. Australian photo Driver’s Licence or Learner’s Permit; or
2. Passport; or
3. KEYPASS Photo ID Card or equivalent (*see below); or
4. Australian birth certificate (copy is okay) PLUS a current photo ID (eg student card). We must be able to verify both your age and your photo ID, we cannot accept one without the other.
Anyone who fails to present an Accepted ID upon entry will not be allowed into St Jerome’s Laneway Festival. No refunds will be processed for anyone who is denied entry because they did not bring Accepted ID.
The Conditions of Entry and Ticketing Terms & Conditions apply to everyone attending St Jerome’s Laneway Festival. Promoter reserves the right to evict any persons engaging in illegal activities (for 16 and 17 years olds, this includes trying to purchase or consuming alcohol).
* Proof of Age Card issued by an interstate government authority, such as:
SA residents: SA Proof of Age Card or Keypass ID. MySAGov digital ID are also valid.
NSW residents: NSW Proof of Age Card or a NSW Photo Card issued by RMS (Roads & Maritimes Services).
WA residents: WA Photo Card issued by WA Department of Transport.

- Will Pass Outs be available on the day?
There are no Pass Outs on the day. If you choose to leave the Festival at any point, you will not be admitted back in. There will be more than enough food, drinks, amenities and of course, music to keep going all day.
AT THE FESTIVAL
- When do the festival gates open and close?
Gates open at 11.30am with the event finishing at 11.45pm.
- What happens if it rains on the day?
Laneway Festival will go ahead rain, hail or snow.
- Can I bring my own alcohol into the festival?
No. Laneway Festival is licensed to sell food & drinks and provides great, well-stocked bars. All bags are searched on arrival.
- Can I go bare foot?
Sorry guys, shoe wear is necessary - thongs and sandals are fine but we highly recommend enclosed footwear as it is a long day.
- Where do I report any lost or found articles?
Found: Please take any found items to Festival staff.
Lost: If you misplace something please check with gate staff on the day as things will be turned in there. Alternatively, please email [email protected] and we will do our very best to help you
- Does Laneway Festival have disabled access & facilities?
Yes, Laneway Festival Melbourne is accessible for disabled patrons, please note there are different surfaces on site including grass, concrete, cobbled stone and gravel. There are some uneven surfaces and slopes in different areas, however all stages are accessible by wheelchair. Accessible toilet facilities are available on site.
- Does Laneway Festival accept Companion Cards?
Yes we do. If you have an approved carer card you will need to purchase a ticket and then email through the details to [email protected]. Please include details of the carer card and who the nominated carer will be. The carer's ticket will be available for collection onsite at guest services upon presentation of the carer card.

✘ Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, bicycles
✘ Milk or bread crates or metal cans or containers
✘ Chairs (folding, portable, camping) or any other furniture
✘ Anything studded or spiked (belts, wristbands, etc) or large chains
✘ OMCD Club patches and jackets
✘ Weapons of any kind (including potential missiles)
✘ Flares, Fireworks or Sparklers
✘ Sound or video recorders or professional cameras (with removable lens) (small still cameras are allowed)
✘ Laser lights or laser pens
✘ Umbrellas (including small, fold up umbrellas - bring a plastic poncho or raincoat instead)
✘ Water pistols
✘ Dogs or other pets (service dogs excepted)
✘ Fires and open flames of any kind
✘ Sound Systems
✘ Eskies, coolers or chilly bins
✘ Any other items deemed dangerous or potentially disruptive by Laneway in its discretion
- What kind of cameras & recording devices can I bring with me?
No professional cameras (read: cameras with detachable lenses) are permitted without formal media accreditation. Likewise no audio or film recording equipment can be brought into the Festival.
- Media Requests:
Applications for accreditation will open on 14 September and will close 28 November.
Given the small size of the event, media tickets are extremely limited (particularly in Sydney and Melbourne) and we advise you to purchase a ticket if you don't want to miss out.
Only one reviewer ticket, and where appropriate one photographer pass, will be allocated to approved outlets (i.e. no plus +1!). In cases where there are multiple requests, we will revert to the editor for clarification.
Please note we can not accommodate students or freelancers.

ACCESSIBILITY AT THE FESTIVAL
- Does Laneway Festival have disabled access & facilities?
Yes, Harts Mill is accessible for patrons with a disability, please note there are different surfaces on site including bitumen, paving, concrete and some unmown field grass, which will impact on ease of movement.
There is disability permit parking provided approximately 250 metres from the main entrance.
Services will be provided to assist where required.
- What if I require a carer/companion to assist me at the festival?
The person with an approved carer card will need to purchases a ticket. Once the ticket has been purchased they will need to send details of the ticket purchase to [email protected] with the details of their carer card and who the nominated carer will be. The carer's ticket will be available for collection onsite at guest services upon presentation of the carer card. Requests must be made PRIOR to the event date.
